stuff i dont like about cardcaptor sakura/fandom

1. PROBLEMATIC RELATIONSHIPS????

there's two relationships in the show (plus another ill get to in a sec) that are teacher x student related.

no.

the first one is nadeshiko and fujitaka, sakura's parents. it's shown that nadeshiko was a high school student and fujitaka was a new teacher. i guess it's not the worst,, i mean there is a big age difference, but not as big a difference as..

rika and mr. terada. i love the characters, but not them together. they aren't dating technically, it's more one sided from rika, but then mr. terada blushes when she talks which is like.. you need to be locked in prison

but the worst part is: RIKA IS IN FOURTH GRADE. FOURTH GRADE.

2. the other relationship i wanted to talk about is meiling and syaoran, which never get together, plus it's one sided from meiling. basically they live together with a butler and when they were little they took karate lessons or somthing idk and meiling would always say that theyre gonna get married, which is fine ig for a little girl like that, but they're cousins. distant cousins, but still related and that makes me uncomfortable. it's not so bad though, since syaoran doesn't even like her and likes sakura anyways, plus meiling gets over it as she gets older. personally, i always kinda shipped meiling with tomoyo, even though apparently in clear card theres a new character that is often shipped with tomoyo but idc because i've not seen it yet.

3. PEOPLE SAYING SYAORAN IS STRAIGHT AND NOT BI

ok so like a recap really quickly, syaoran really had a crush on yukito for the first half of the show. he was a rival against sakura, and they kinda fought for yukito's affection. then, they get feelings for eachother, and it's also revealed that the only reason that syaoran liked yukito was because of the moon power in him that he was drawn to. after that, he only likes sakura. "oh, but he only liked the moon powers in him it wasn't a crush!" yes, it was. "he only liked him for a bit! he doesn't like boys anymore!" no. he still liked him, and while obviously it's possible for people to go back to being straight, i think that he still can like boys after yukito. however, his heart belongs to sakura, and that's canon.

4. THE HATE RUBY GETS

I love ruby sm. she's so cute and pretty, and i like how she's written."noo!! she gets in the way of my little uwu gay smol bean ship !!😱"

I don't think that's why she was getting in the way of getting toya to confess his feelings for yukito. she was trying to prevent them from getting together so that yuktio wouldn't dissapear. she's not trying to take toya away from yuki because she's homophobic. she's not homophobic. she's just trying to protect everyone.

this got very angry very quick, hopefully i don't get cancelled for these opinions
