FNAF 2 is underappreciated

A lot of ppl will probably argue w me abt this but IMO, fnaf 2 is underrated. Personally it feels like a lot of ppl think its just a filler game to keep the original fans of the game interested due to its chaotic "new" mechanics that were introduced. Yes, its very chaotic if you don't know how to maintain every game mechanic/animatronic. Not to mention, the very underground theories behind the game. Like the identities of the toy animatronics, marionette, etc. Another theory is that Mangle was behind the Bite of '87, (not to be confused with the bite of '83, since that was Golden Freddy).

Although, Security Breach was probably the best looking fnaf game, with full blown animation and freeroamability, plus a bunch of lore hidden within it, (as long as you know where to look), and the blatantly hot topic on the identity of Vanessa and Gregory.

Overall, fnaf 2 was still a bridge to Security Breach as far as story-progression is concerned. It shows that Fazbear inc. is willing to try harder to make sure their integrity can be recovered, by implementing more secure robots to the equation.  The toy animatronics are supposed to be more secure, even with criminal database facial recognition. The flaw in the plan was using spare parts from the older animatronics, making the toys just as dangerous as the originals.

The attacks wouldn't have happened otherwise.

As for Mangle, who knows? It doesn't seem like his parts are old. She shows no signs of rust or wear either...

Then again, Scott's lore is a clusterfuck, and I'm pretty sure he only goes with what turns out to be convenient for the future.

idk this was mainly a rant abt fnaf 2, during class lol. It just felt like it was being slept on.

(Note: I do NOT support Scott Cawthon or his decisions, political or personal.)

oh yeah, i totally agree with you. if fnaf 2 didn't exist, we wouldn't really have as much insight on why Fazbear Entertainment would go as far as creating an entire pizzaplex that definitely costed a ton of money.

also, i love the chaoticness of fnaf 2. just a side note lol

YEAHH AHHAH when security breach came out, i kept having the burning question: why would fazbear entertainment spend all this money on this huge pizzaplex considering their past mistakes and how its gotten them so many lawsuits AND literally burned down several times? but then i replayed fnaf 2, and phone guy went on about how they improved the animatronics to ensure the safety of the kids and had a whole new location, which goes to show fazbear entertainment is willing to spend as much money as possible if it means staying in business
