idk why but i kinda felt like rambling about my day, so i'm doing it

my school's copy of Hitchhiker's Guide is still checked out :[ so instead of that i got Divergent. one of my friends says the book is considerably better than the movie, but the second and third books go completely off the rails. i remember watching the first movie w/my grandma at one point, and i think i liked it. only thing that turns me off from reading it is the font size. it's unusually big (at least for me). i'll give it a fair chance though.

1st block (biology) was pretty bad D: i completely forgot like,, EVERYTHING about photosynthesis over the weekend and had almost no clue what was going on. we had these "checkpoint questions" to turn in by the end of the block, and i BARELY got them in on time (º □ º l|l) plus i sorta-kinda had a teensy-weensy itsy-bitsy breakdown about it so yk,, THAT'S FUN

(gotta have like one daily cry istg) (it wasn't too bad though)

2nd block (geometry) was alright, i guess. we had a kahoot game right before out test and i placed either 4th or 5th, can't really remember lol. gonna have to finish the test tomorrow, because there are 75 QUESTIONS FOR SOME REASON. i'm not mad about it, just like,, why??

3rd block (marching band), we got new visuals for the show :] i kinda like them, but they're gonna take a lot of getting used to. ESPECIALLY since our next contest is this Saturday Σ(°△°|||)︴i'm sure we'll do great, but i'm mainly worried about the contest after that. i can only imagine what that'll be like...

4th block (piano I) the new composer we have is pretty interesting (Modest Mussorgsky). not only is his name great, but his style is fascinating too. not sure if it's because the piece we listened to was a polka, or if it really is how he composes, but the left hand plays a LOT more staccato notes than usual. it's almost like a Baroque tone in a Romantic style, if that makes sense.

i finally took a look at the all-state pieces i need to play and they're CERTAINLY DIFFICULT ENOUGH. thankfully i've got like 4 months to get them down-pat; the extra time helps a ton :D
