OMG I JSUT REMEMBERD!!
I learned this american biscuit recipe from my culinary class the other day
so basically its:
a handful of flour (like just scoop flour with ur hand)
4 fingers+thumb pinch of baking POWDER
3 fingers+thumb pinch of salt
2 fingers+thumb pinch of sugar
and a scoop to ur middle knuckle on ur pointer finger of butter
(also milk!)
first preheat ur oven to 450 degrees (fahrenheit btw)
So basically u combine all ur dry ingredients, then put in ur lil finger scoop of butter (we also used shortening in class) and just kinda break the butter into the dry ingredients.
Then when ur done with that add milk until it starts to form a dough. it shouldn't be sticky but it also should be too crumbly. Just enough until everything comes together!
keep kneading and adding milk till it's all into one piece of dough.
Then separate it into whatever size biscuits you want! I'm an average 5'5 female and I was able to make about 4 decent sized biscuits.
Put into the oven for 15 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and the bottom is a nice light brown color, but them back in for about 5 minutes if they're underbaked
I like to put butter and honey on mine, but you can put whatever u want!
These are very simple to make, the main mistake people in my class made was just adding too much milk and their dough was rlly sticky xD so just be careful <3
