Went to a wrestling match

My mum has a friend who works in advertising so she gets free tickets to review plays and stuff all the time. This time it was some wrestling match in the cooler part of the city with skyscrapers and stuff. At first I declined the offer to join her with her extra tickets as wrestling is all staged and there's no real violence to it. But then I realized: what would I do that night if I stayed at home? Watch YouTube? Rant about nothing on discord? Plus skyscrapers look really cool at night so eventually I asked if I could go with her and my brothers. 

The building is cool, but the actual event was repetitive and dull after the first match. Probably the most interesting part was listening to the bass boosted electronic theme songs blast through the speakers over the loud noise of the screaming crowd. Mum was watching closely but not participating, my youngest brother was sorta' interested, at least in the first half, and my chill brother was looking at his watch the entire time waiting for it to be over. 

That night was the most northern English thing I have ever seen. 

The only interesting part were the women. They weren't as buff and were all pissed off by something (either that or they're all drunk) but holy crap hey were hot. There was the blonde one with the darude sandstorm theme, who kept harassing the referee at the beginning, the black one with the long hair, who kicked the blonde one in the forehead with her boot and somehow she didn't bleed, the other blonde one but this time she definitely bleached her hair, who was pretty but didn't really do much, and the pink short haired one, who was most definitely drunk. The way they acted was like they were arguing over some tiny thing at a bar, and the over the top reactions they gave out just made that better. Originally the match was between the he blonde one with the darude sandstorm theme and the the black one with long hair; but then the other 2 came along out of nowhere and I guess they teamed up or something? The first blonde woman won btw. People were throwing their glowsticks at her while cheering at the top of their lungs. Not sure what the obsession with glowsticks are but whatever.

There was no food: only fruit juice and red bull mixed with rum and vodka. In the seccond half I gave my brother my 3DS (which was o so conveniently in my bag) and he messed around in my tomodachi life world before I took it back and did all the work for him as he kept writing songs where the only lyrics were "sus".  I recall nothing that happened on the second half: there was this match between a goth and an emo but that wasn't anything worth paying attention to. 

So yea, I can now say I've been to a wrestling match. Still think that gladiator matches are better tho.
