Future Mess

So I’m just gonna start using this place as a safe space for me to write/vent my personal life. Lol.

To be blunt… would it be weird to date my ex’s ex; the one he dated after me? It’s a long history between me and my ex, Barney. To make a long story short: we broke up, he dated Rodney, they broke up then turned around to date Rodney’s ex, Max.

Max is the guy of interest right now.

I had Max blocked for the longest on social media because at a point we were both basically fighting (not literally) to be with Barney and when they were dating, I didn’t want anything popping up on my timelines reminding me that Barney chose Max over me. And yes, I know… it was dumb for me to put myself in a position to make myself a choice. Lesson learned.

But the point is that I found out that Barney and Max aren’t together anymore, so I figured any ill feelings Max and I may have had towards each other would be water under the bridge at this point and we could just connect on hating Barney together. 😂

That really wasn’t the point of me unblocking him. I just thought it’d be funny if that was the concept. Lol.

So in turn of me unblocking Max, he ends up coming across my Facebook Dating profile and I like him just for shits and giggles. Well that shits and giggles turns into constipation and seriousness cause he liked me back and we started talking to each other. We haven’t brought Barney up in our conversation. We’ve been flirting with each other back and forth. I wasn’t being serious with mine and had no intention being that way towards him, but after the third time he said something flirty to me, I told him that he’s gonna catch these feelings if he keeps doing that. His response was “I mean… if it happens then it happens”.

I was not expecting me catching feelings for this dude at all, but I’m kind of curious to see where it will lead. I also find it weird to be thinking about dating my ex’s ex. I’ve never done it before, but who knows. Maybe me and Max would be better off together than we were with Barney. Lol. 🤷🏼‍♂️
