Welcome. Learn more about me. :)

Hello, if you have seen the name before that's because I was on here once before. Well let me re-introduce myself. My name is Myles, like miles but with a Y. I am 22 (feel free to unadd if I seem too old, I add everyone). I am a documentary filmmaker, from Baltimore Maryland. I use documentaries to help tell stories of others in my city. I feel like Baltimore is misunderstood and what you read in the news is not all of what we have to offer. I have been featured in local news (Baltimore Banner), on various local and non local podcasts like Truth in This Art (Local) and F*ck it we'll fix it in post (Tennessee, non local). I am about to do a screening at a local bookstore (Red Emmas) of one of my films. All of which can be viewed on YouTube (consider subscribing if you enjoy). I try to be active as much as possible on here, which is usually late from 11pm-2am EST. If you do have social media I am mostly active on my Instagram. @mylesmichelin for Instagram and Twitter. "Myles Michelin" (black and white profile pic) on YouTube or just look up "My Block Doc" and you'll find it. I am a heavy stoner, so if weed bothers you sorry not sorry (respectfully). In my free time I like gaming (PS4) and I play mostly FPS or Madden. I hope you learned more, and if you like what you read, or saw on my YouTube channel, please message me with any questions. Hope you all stay safe and have a good one!

Hi Myles! Thanks for the add. Documentary work is definitely something that isn’t for the faint of heart—not that it’s scary, it just definitely takes a lot of effort!

You mentioned on your page to say what camera you use if you do photography. I’m definitely an amateur in that field, but I use a Canon 90D.

I just recently got into photography (check out my instagram if you'd like @mylesmichelin) but I use a Canon Rebel T6i or a Canon 5DSR for photos. Most times I switch between the two, but lately I've been using my T6i since it has wifi so I can upload the pics to my phone and then edit on my phone. Don't even need to take out the SD card. I'd recommend it, you can get one with a 18-55mm lens for around $500 US on Amazon and that's honestly a good deal for a camera.

Sorry if I talked your head off but I can talk about cameras all day as you can see haha

Wow, only $500? That’s a steal! That wifi thing seems incredible. It’s such an easy thing to do, yet taking out the SD feels like a chore sometimes!

I honestly only really got the camera for school, but I’m glad to have it anyway. My parents were nice enough to buy it for me. So now I’m trying to save before I make any big purchases of my own. I think a high-fidelity PC would be my next big move, personally.

Yeah, I'm thinking of getting a PC setup soon. Once I get back into school I'll invest.
