Creativity of songwriting  and music production is second to none. Let me elaborate: Making music is built on creativity and being different from other artists to further expand on one aesthetic aka distinct style. Due to this core factor, artists are forced to be different and come up with never seen things. If you wanna have success being a musician you have to do something unique and creative. For example multi award winning artist Nicki Minaj  is regarded as a legend and queen of rap and has one of the biggest fanbases to ever exist the “barbz”, But how was she able to captovate the masses and be so successful? It’s simple being creative and standing out. From the mid 2000’s to the late 2000’s there were a lack of female rapers and the few that were there wern’t commercial and all talked about vulgar topics, but in 2010 Nicki Minaj came on the scene and changed the game with he verstlty, charm and alter egos and since they she has been successful ever since. Another example is singer- songwriter Taylor Swift. Taylor started out as a country artist wits hits such as “Love Story” and “You Belong With Me” then grew to fame with more pop and techno albums such as he 4th studio album “Red” and fifth studio album “1989”. The reason Taylor grew in popularity is because of her way of writing a good story. Fun fact her 3rd album “Speak Now” she was the only writer for each song not including the deluxe. So you see these artists grew to the icons they are due to their creativity and distinct style pun intended.

No one wants to listen to a boring or basic artist and according to an “SAGE Journals” article a website made to collect valuable reports states 

“Research using divergent thinking tasks to measure creativity generally supports the idea that musicians are more creative than non-musicians. For example, Hamann, Bourassa, and Aderman (1990) found that creativity scores were higher for music majors than non-music majors.”

I could go on and on about very talented artists such as Lady Gaga ,Billie Elish and Meline Martnez . Or  talk about more studies, but due to me not wanting to make this to long ill have to cut this short. I came in telling you that music is the most creative hobby now and hopefully so do you.
