after a while of being really addicted 2 tiktok and constantly 'rescheduling' the day i'll delete it, i finally had enough of it & deleted it from my phone 4 good :D! tiktok literally fried my brain and ruined my attention span (which was already terrible as it was before i got tiktok lmao) so i feel like making this decision was the best 4 my mental health. it's already been like 2-3 days since i deleted tiktok and so far nothing has really changed tbh.. the only difference is that idk what 2 do after waking up in the morning when i'd usually waste time scrolling on tiktok lol
but even tho i deleted tiktok im still a bit addicted 2 my phone. not AS addicted as i used 2 be but still... so to end my phone addiction 4 good ive been thinking abt completely ditching social media & my smartphone and replacing them w a vintage 2000s phone 2 finally live my 2000s dreams! what phone do yall think i should buy?? ive been thinking a vintage blackberry or motorola razr flip phone but idk..

maybe it's a bit late to reply to this, but i had a vintage motorola (razr v3i) as my regular phone, tbh i don't recommend it.
It's super cute but the battery doesn't last, you can't get MMS, texts get randomly shortened when they are too long (whether u sent or received it), and mine was a pain to charge as the cable just didn't work on my socket?? (i could only charge it on my computer). I now use the cat S22 flip, it's not as cute but is the perfect compromise to me between a smart and a dumb phone :) definitely helped with how much time i used to spend on social medias

Where do you find old phones?
on ebay or other 2nd hand sites! u could also try asking some of ur relatives if they could give u an old phone they dont need anymore

Damn well done on deleting TikTok, I should probably do the same. I initially got it so I could upload videos there which was at least creative in a way, but now I don't upload, I just scroll mindlessly. I've also been thinking of cutting out a few social medias, probably not all of them but getting rid of a few surely would be a good thing.
Getting a vintage phone would be a huge move, I've never even thought of that before. A motorola razr would be really cool, I feel like the blackberry's with the entire button keyboard would be annoying to use. Let us know if you end up going through with the plan!
