i wish i could remember sometimes, forgetting is too painful.

i long to escape his company, even if only for a fleeting moment.

i long to escape this wretched place.

i long for a day where i do not have to pretend anymore.

i do not want him to find me.

i know he is looking for me.

i know i am going to forget again.

i am scared of forgetting, and yet i know it is inevitable.

i know i will find an escape.

i long for that day.
