Slime Rancher Review

Slime Rancher is a first person life sim game that introduces you to Beatrix LeBeau as she sets out on her journey on a new planet called the "Far, Far Range". This new planet has these beautiful creatures made of slime, which come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. You have everything from the standard slimes that are only one type and small in size, all the way up to the dreaded tar which are 3 slime types in one! 

You start out on the ranch which is blocked off from the rest of the planet, so you know your area is safe on its own. You will learn how to catch slimes, corral them, and even take care of them. Slimes eat just like you and me, which means they also well, release what they have eaten just like you and me. Those things they release, are called plorts, and apparently plorts are super amazing and are used to make pretty much everything! So, you collect said plorts, and sell them to the plort stock market located on your ranch. You will then get money which can be used to make more corrals to get more slimes, upgrade your ranch, and even decorate! 

So, now for my personal opinion on this game itself. Amazing, spectacular, addicting! You want to play this game, you will fall in love with every single slime, and if you are anything like me, will end up naming them! Yeah sure, it is hard to tell the difference between each slime of the same type, but we can pretend right? Most definitely would recommend this game to everyone, especially since it even has a casual mode where you can't make tar slimes at all. So if you just need a game that is for chilling and not actually actively grinding, that option is available to you. 

Slime Rancher 2 is coming out today, so before you play that, I do recommend playing the first one before the second. You will love it!
