(disclaimer: this is only my opinion and I respect other views, this is just a fun rant that I felt like doing) 

Reasoning-

1.- Paris was always the most hardworking character in the show, even more than Rory.

2.- Paris always stepped up when doing projects or group work.

3.- She had been doing volunteer work since she was ten years old just to get into Harvard.

4.- She was always there supporting Rory no matter what.

5.- She is a huge feminist who knows her worth and is not afraid to stand up to those who disrespect her.

My thoughts and opinions- 

I love Rory Gilmore don't get me wrong but sometimes I feel like she got more credit than she deserved. Paris was painted out to be a rude person at the beginning but wouldn't you be a little pissed if your entire life you had been the top of the class and then suddenly someone comes in and takes your place with minimal effort. I am not justifying the way she treated Rory but just saying that it makes sense. Rory got everything she wanted with putting in a minimal amount of effort compared to Paris yet Rory got offered a place in Harvard and Paris did not. Personally I think that Paris deserved her place in Harvard more than anyone else.- ☆Stargirl☆
