THIS IS WHY I HATE MY SCHOOL BUS!!!!

BACKGROUND INFO,

There's this autistic girl in the year below me at school, she gets pretty badly bullied, and unfortunately a lot of that happens on the bus.

She made up this alter ego called Iris Moonshine which she threatens to reveal when people are horrible to her. I find it quite sweet but, when you go to a British secondary school, nobody gives a shit about anything unless they've seen it on tik tok.

OKAY BACKGROUND INFO DONE, HERES THE ANECDOTE.

She was sat behind me on the bus and these two boys got on and started being horrible to her, screaming and throwing stuff at her. Everybody on the bus gathered around to the back where we were and started recording and shouting and laughing at her. 

The boys were getting in her face and saying she doesn't have a dad and hitting her with their ties. Everybody else had their phones out and were filming and laughing and cheering along. I didn't know what to do, I was just shocked.

She threatened to call the police at one point, understandably as they were physically assaulting her and recording without permission. They just laughed at her, so she tried to call her dad but he couldn't hear her over the screaming.

The bus driver didn't stop them, this happens all the time and he never says anything. It was obvious, everybody was gathered in the corner and screaming. It was impossible to miss.

Once they got off everybody started gathering around each others phones asking to share the videos to each other on snapchat and coming over to call the girl a freak. 

I got off the bus and immediately started crying. Once I got home, I had the first panic attack I've had in over a year. I can't even imagine how she would've felt.

(I didn't realise the severity at the time because I just tried to block it out my brain. I told the woman that runs the anxiety group I go to and she said she'll email the school about it.)
