i went on my second date since the breakup with a girl ive been talking to for a few weeks, we get along well on a friendship level but yknow we met on a dating app so i asked her on a date, paid for our tickets and snacks, then we sat in her car for almost two hours just talking. we saw barbarian which was good tbh! it was a bit intense so there was moments of leaning into each other when scared. im not a forward person and my ex was my first love/first everything so i consider myself inexperience to dating and stuff. so when i said im gonna leave since it was getting late she said okay but kinda smiled and stared at me so i was like ok.. haha then she asked if she could kiss me so i said sure and we pecked twice. it was nice, different and im still trying to get used to the idea of being with other people. but she said she had a good time, i texted her when i got home and she seemed like she had a good time. i made it clear in the beginning im not looking for something serious, i want to meet people, figure out what i like and get comfortable with dating. so we'll see but im happy to have made it this far. 

on another note, i got a new job! i start tomorrow, assistant teacher at this not a daycare but its not a school if anyone understands that kind of environment? it pays more and hopefully should be a good new experience for me. im on a new path and its exciting to see where i go next :)
