Blog Day I (15/9/2022)

(yes, i am posting this the next day. i did not have time last night)

Well, who am i? I am evelyn. Evelyn is me.

So, yesterday I got up early for school, than I wwent on the bus. The bus ride was pretty uneventful yesterday, if i remember correctly. I than got to school. They got me in trouble at school for havig my phone out in the morning, which I thought was allowed until homeroom. However apparently it is not. So, I put my phone away, then headed up to homeroom to lock it away in the cabinant until the end of the day (as everyone here is to do) 

After that, I had my first class, Literature. I basically just browsed this and listened to music the whole time. then I had Media, we didn't do much there either, just look up equipment and I browsed spacehey a bit. I then went to our morning break where I mostly talk to one of the teachers here whos like 30 and had an emo phase when she was younger. 

Following that was... History! I listened to some music, I forget what music though. Oh, now I remember, near the end, I tried listening to A fever you can't sweat out by Panic! At the Disco. I actually went to the bathroom and listened via my AirPods bc class was boring, then they noticed and shut my computer from in the room, as it was the next class. I got to about the beginning of Nails for Breakfast, Tacks for Snacks. We then had astronomy, where I listened to more music. somewhere near the end of the class, I turned on the album The same old blood rush with a new touch by Cute is what we aim for. The funny thing is, in the next class, statistics, I had gone to the bathroom. I wasn't in there for long, but while I was in there, The Curse of Curves came on and I Had to start singing along. So, I did. I left the bathroom about right as the chorus hit and both of the teachers in the hall recognized that it was Cute is what we aim for!! And that is so so fucking cool to me!!!!

So, the rest of statistics was uneventful. Lunch was uneventful too, I think I emailed my friend Paige, as I usually do during lunch, and browsed spacehey, and watched YouTube. Than I had the most boring fucking class of the week, wellness. Since I had been avoiding wellness for the last two years. Mainly because I was very uncomfortable with the sexual education aspect of it. Like, I am a lesbian anyway, I do not need to know how to use condoms. No, it was actually not that reason why I was uncomfortable with it. The reason is too personal to me to share, though. 

So, anyway, because of me piutting it off, and being in a small school which is dedicated torwards those with special needs, I was in a class with a lot of inactive partisipants who were mostly younger than me. I am 11th grade, they were 9th and 10th grades mostly.  And,, like,, I didn't even sign up for this class, although I do believe that in my administrative district (i refuse to call it a state bc that makes like litearlly no sense to call it that, why is the united states like this-) anyway, I believe that you must complete at least one or two years of wellness to graduate. And I did like one semester in 9th grade, that is it. So, anyway, that class was very boring. 

Following that, it was nearly the end of the day. The last class of the day is usually more of a club than anything else, yesterday, mine was studio gibli film club. It was fun, we finished princess mononoke :). I left about 30 minutes before the end of the day to go to a doctor's appointment.

So, it was like my annual psychical, which is always scary to me. But, one thing that got me through it was my music! And while I was playing I'm not okay (I promise) by My Chemical Romance, tje doctor noticed and she was like "wait this is like from my time" and I was like "yeah, you would be suprised at how much I listen to from then." and I listed a few bands such as The Academy is..., Cute is what we aim for, Panic! At the Disco, etc-. And she knew of the academy is . She mentioned how she used to make cassettes of TAI to listen to in her car and I was like omg i wanna do the same i have a cassette player i am getting a walkman i am gonna get and make cassettes omg- and idk, it was so, so fucking cool.

Then I went home. Not much happened after, I browsed SpaceHey and Listened to my silver Almost Here vinyl. Shortlyt after, my dad came over so me, him, and my sister could have our weekly Thursday night dinner together. Our dinner was also uneventful, after dinner, I watched some mid-2000s emo music videos on the TV, then I went back home (to my mom's house). Unfortunately, our family did not watch the owl house together last night :( as it was late. I went to bed at around 11:30-12:00, and yeah!!

Oh, also I forgot, I followed a lot of local scene bands on insta, so that was nice.
