I'm sorry to hear that, it's not easy having family/relatives that make your life worse. People often just assume that families should get along and are inherently indebted to one another, but I've never really felt that way. Someone's blood connection to you has no impact on who they are as a person, just because my mother gave birth to me doesn't mean that I should like her or I owe her anything. That should come from how she treats me as a son.
