I Don't Know

I don't know.

Don't got it figured out.

I have some thoughts,

But I've got my doubts.

Everybody's looking somewhere

for answers they'll never find.

I don't have it figured out,

but I don't mind.

I would build a rocketship

and fling it past the moon,

Through the astroid belt,

past Jupiter,

Saturn, and Neptune.

I would even change my key

and sing a different tune.

I'd sail across the Milky Way

just to be with you.

I don't know.

We're all just dust.

Dust that dreams and thinks it knows

and reaches toward the sky.
