inspiration through dinner

Got home from teaching this past Thursday night, and my only thought was "FOOD!" So as I was scarfing down some leftover pasta, what happens next?

A new song comes to me.

Inspiration through dinner...gotta love it.

Wrote the ideas down after stuffing my face. I couldn't write fast enough as the ideas were dying to get out. Now the next part: recording the rough demo. But not at night while most of the house is sleeping (this is why I wish there was GarageBand for PC!) So I recorded the demo at 9am Friday morning. 

Whatever it takes!

I know this will be a good song for two reasons: 1) It came out of nowhere; 2) Recording it was smooth. I've written/recorded songs that took a bit of elbow grease but still came out quite good. This one was easy and fast. I enjoyed the process.

And I took a title from a previous song that wasn't working and stuck it on this tune. No I am not saying the title (learned my lesson the hard way) but guarantee it will make people laugh and say "Ah yes, so true!"

I love when a plan works.
