Maiden of madness

I am a maiden of madness, nurse of sin and corruption; I breastfeed disturbance into malevolence, pet its crimson head gently, until it grows teeth and claws. When it's ready, I send it on its way into the vastness of the World. I pray it feeds well, I pray it has a warm place to sleep in the neverending, cold winter nights. I am simply a maiden of madness, a nurse of violence, it's what I've grown into throughout my whole life, it is what is left of me. A vessel for spite and sorrow, a gracious host to depravity and malice.
