Latest delivery

Forgive me if this message is not put together very well. My mind is not too quick, these days.

I delivered a package today to a kind fellow up in the north. The package was about three feet long, and quite thin. The package weighed near five pound, though it may have been less.

The trek up to the fellow's house was pleasant. I crossed a shallow river where, downstream, there was a family of deer drinking from the water. Luckily, I was able to move quietly enough to not disturb them.

When I arrived at my destination, the recipient was chopping firewood. I greeted the man, and introduced myself. I then gave him the package, whereupon he thanked me by gifting me a small, yet intricate carving of a beaver. I have since placed this beaver on my nightstand.
