Highlight of the week

I was eating an apple in the school lunch hall. I had been eating this apple for 15 minuets now and was almost finished. I had about 1 or 2 bites left and I had about 9 minuets left before I had to go to History. Pretty generic scenario.

But then one of the cooks asked if I wanted extra vanilla cake and custard as they were packing up now and they didn't want to have to throw the leftovers away. I said yes and that's the only thing that was interesting about my week.

My school is a primary and secondary school combined and I've been there since reception so they know me as that kid who used to ask for extra dessert and asked for only nachos once when chili was being served. Sometimes they don't let me pay the full price (my school uses these card things and they press buttons on the screen to take the money off) and 2 days ago they let me take an apple without paying 40p for it, so they're pretty cool.
