my new shower hates me help

It has 2 temperatures: burning hot and melting your skin hot. I can't make it colder as I've tried turning the dial but on both ends it's still hot. I'm sorry if I did anything to offend you shower but can you please stop trying to kill me? 

I'm halfway convinced that my new shower was fitted by some eco maniac that wanted me to spend less time in the shower to use up less water or something; because if that is the case then it sure worked!
