i made manga shelftalkers for work w/ help from reddit!

i noticed that customers lately have been talking about/purchasing the same few series and felt the need to spruce up my store's manga section! so a few days ago, i posted on reddit and asked for user manga recommendations and small blurbs that i could write onto little shelftalker cards. 

the responses i got were all super helpful and eye-opening. i learned about a few series that i've either glanced at or came across in passing, and i'm looking forward to checking them all out in time! 

it was fun talking to everyone on r/MangaCollectors! it's such an open and easygoing community and i recommend anyone who's curious about manga culture or starting their own collection 👍🏻 i like to browse through it to find new series or inspire myself with shelf organization and designs or to ask and answer general questions/surveys from the community. 

unfortunately i couldn't put everyone's cards up :/ i have to wait for several series to be shipped to the store or come back in print in order to put the remaining ones up. i feel like there are many more series that should be highlighted, especially with the new anime season coming around the corner and the hype for animes like Chainsaw Man and Hell's Paradise hitting the market.

i'm hoping to write more of these and spread them across the section just before the holiday boom 🤙🏻 if anyone has any recommendations, feel free to IM here or on any of my socials!
