Into the horizon

There are a lot of people in this world who don't want to change. They don't want to improve. They don't want to become better.

They're stuck in a toxic and vicious cycle, yet they claim no responsibility for the consequences.

They don't want to be helped. They don't want to help themselves.

A lot of people dwell on their past trauma and use it as an excuse for their despicable and degenerate behavior. "You don't know what I've been through!"

I don't care what you've gone through. Nobody cares. Not your family. Not your friends. Not even your lover. Stop using your past trauma as an excuse for acting horribly at the present.

Everyone has the choice, the option to become a better person. They just choose not to. Because it's easier to be a bad person than be a good person. It's easier to abuse people and take advantage of others when there is no accountability.

"You have no right to judge me!"

I do. I have the right and the freedom to judge you just like anyone else. If you're wrong, if you're doing something that's wrong, then I'll tell you that you're wrong.

Humanity has stopped very low. The reason for that is enablers. People who support the wrong-doers because it benefits them in some way or form.

A lot of people don't think long term. 5 years, 10 years, 20 years from now, do you want to look back at your current self and be filled with regrets? A lot of people don't think at all. Who am I? What am I doing? How will my actions affect me in the future? Is this who I want to be? Is this what I want my legacy to be?

The kind of people you surround yourself with, has a huge impact on who you are, and what you become. If you surround yourself with fools, it may not take long for you to become one.

The problem is, people choose to surround themselves with enablers. They choose to surround themselves with people who praise them, and cheer them on, regardless of their activities or behavior. People want to hear good things about themselves, even if they're lies.

Very rarely do people appreciate criticism. But criticism is the seed of growth. If you want to improve on yourself, you will have to listen to criticism. Find out your flaws. Find your faults. Find your mistakes. And work on that.

Rare is a man who will make such drastic changes and improvements, that you can hardly recognize them for who they were. After a certain age, people refuse to change. They're stuck in their old ways. That's why you'll hear sayings such as, Once a player, always a player! Or, You can't turn a h0 into a housewife.

Why do you think these sayings exist? Because they're true. Because people refuse to change. Because people have a very difficult time improving their personalities and characters.

Most people don't get better. They only get worse with time.

It took me a long time to be the person I am today. I became good at a time when everyone was turning bad. Such is the irony of life.

I always believed in improving myself. I always believed in being a better person. I'm a better person today than I was yesterday. I'm better now than I was 10 years ago. I evolved. I listened to the criticism. I took my flaws, put them in a bag and threw them in the trash. I changed. I've grown so much as a person. But I'm not satisfied. I can still do better. I can still improve. I always wanted to be that guy that no one could be. I raised the standards so high, there was only one way forward.

You have to set the standards for yourself. Who do you want to be? And I'm not referring to your materialistic life. A new car, big paycheck, huge mansion - none of that matters if you're a horrible despicable human being.

I'm referring to your mental state; your character, your personality, your qualities - who do you want to be?

Life, is a series of tough choices and decisions. If you don't make them, the universe will make them for you. And you may not like the results.

Who you are, and who you become, rests entirely on yourself. People will come and go, life will have it's ups and downs, you will experience love, hatred, you will come across cheaters and abusers, you will meet all sorts of scum of the earth. You cannot let them define who you are today. If you do, you will hate yourself more than anyone else when the time comes.

Pain and suffering should only motivate you be stronger, to be better. Because in the end, the greatest pain you will have to face is death. When your life flashes before your eyes, you don't want to be filled with regrets.

A great man is one who chose to do the right thing, and follow the right path, despite all the odds
