I'm in the mood to recommend another insane manga that is often overlooked. Except this time, this one might be a bit graphic depending on if you experienced abuse, but its a very disturbing and in depth depiction of psychological abuse and gaslighting.
So, by the creator of Flowers of Evil is a manga called Chi no Wadachi (Blood on the Tracks/A Trail of Blood). The manga is about a boy named Seiichi and his mother who is depicted as a gaslighting creep who is uncomfortably controlling and manipulative of her son. There are these mysterious snippets of Sei's childhood, like a white cat, and an eerie panel of his mother smiling. I'm not going to spoil a lot of what happens in the story, considering it would be most effective to read it yourself and experience the mental rollercoaster. The main mystery of the story is what happened to Sei's cousin who "fell off a cliff" and had a bad brain injury.
The way gaslighting, trauma, and manipulation is depicted in this manga is intense, as there is a wide variety of depictions of such. It ranges from the mother having a ghastly/ghostly aura to looking like a misshapen monster, or even the main character being made out to look like a monster via gas lighting. Crippling anxiety and despairThe whole story is about Sei's journey through his trauma and it is still ongoing into a much bigger story leading into his adulthood. It shows his trauma breathing down his neck like a ghost, and as of currently, the story is getting very interesting. If you are into psychological horror that is realistic as hell, Chi no Wadachi is a hell of a read.

I read this manga when I was a preteen and had to put it down cause I started going "Ha, relatable" every other panel :|
