Let's all love Lain!

I love how the themes and philosophical questions of who you are, who I am, and if and how someone can have multiple egos and not be aware of it. I think it also being about the internet was a kinda early and very well observation of how the internet/wired shouldn't be mashed into our real daily life and how it later evolved to what we have today. It's amazing to watch Lain be consumed by the wired/internet like so many other people and how it affects her friends. 

The themes of her godhood and the other "god" guy was super interesting! I always love religious imagery and thematics in media. The whole "she's a program made to be god and her family isn't real" part I didn't understand at all tho ;-; In some way they (lain and god-guy) kinda became e-celebrities or influencer, but because of how they could manipulate things inside and outside of the wired they saw themselves as gods. It's incredibly interesting!

Tbh I didn't really understand much, but I felt like making a blog post about serial experiments Lain. Feel free to leave your thoughts if you want to (is it weird to say that?)! I'd love to read other peoples opinions and interpretations of Lain.
