im confused, i want to start a new hobby..which is writing. On the daily i write in my journal and stuff but does that even count as writing? When people ask me about my hobbies i say writing and other things but I WRITE in a journal does that even count as freaking writing!>?!?!?!?!?! im confused but im going to start writing short stories and get into the habit of writing, but a different form of writing.

it def counts as writing don't doubt your efforts! I keep a journal too and I find it impressive that you do it daily I usually get lazy even if I have a topic I wanna write act.
if you don't already, I recommend drawing as a hobby it pairs well with writing
