Update

About 20ish days after I posted that I got myself together and asked for his phone number, it was pretty awkward and I didn’t end up getting it. He didn’t say yes or no just that he didn’t know it. So I didn’t give up on hope. A few days after was the school dance. It was the very end and I felt like crap because I had no boy like all my other friends. Then he FINALLY asked me to dance. And after I got his phone number (yaaay). The next few days we’re strange but nice. Then over the summer we texted but he was super busy (family stuff). And I’m kinda getting to that point again… should I ask to hang out or should I what for him to do it? What if he doesn’t ask? What if he says no? Does he even like me? We saw each other at an early school event but we didn’t talk, it’s mostly because of his friends being around him but what if he just doesn’t want to talk to me? WHAT DO I DO?
