addicted to nostalgia?

anyways i was on the internet just like anyone and i found my old tumblr account !!! ive had it since i was 13 and im not 21 so its been a while.. its funny because tumblr has literally seen all of the phases ive been through: emo bands, tim burton, hippie, the beatles, classic rock, etc. it was so nice to be able to reminisce. but it got me thinking.... ive been seeking all the things that brought me comfort as a kid. 2020 is really when it started. ive been playing all of my old video games and listening to music i grew up with. literally my most listened to of 2020 and 2021 had songs like knock you down and slave 4 u. 

my next fixation is finding all the old video games i used to play as as kid. i recently got mysims and mysims kingdom for the ds and replaying it has been lovely. i also bought a 3ds xl because my eyes are definitely not how they used to be and i need larger text in order to read T-T but its okay. i also got magicians quest mysterious times!!!!! DOES ANYONE REMEMBER THAT GAME?!?!?! it was literally SO HARD TO FIND. butttt its supposed to come in the mail this week. 

okay okay besides that, i was going through twitter and tiktok and i feel like a lot of people are feeling the same way as me. the tiktok videos talking about 2000s and 2010s fashion, tv shows, music, video games, literally anything from that era has been going viral. do you think that we are all kinda needing nostalgia right now? demi lovato just came out with a new album that is so similar to her first album, its kinda crazy. do you think there is any chance we would revert back to a more simple life? like flip phones?? (im secretly hoping apple comes up with a flip phone similar to that samsung one that came out. could you imagine being able to hang charms off of your phone again?!?!?) 

idk lol this is just a bunch of word vomit from my brain. :P
