i know i'm not your favorite record

i kinda wanna be in love with someone, i don't even have a crush right now. i miss when i was staying up at night thinking of that one guy from school or when i wrote poetry about him (i still look back at it and laugh) there's nothing better about love than the person not loving you back, because when they do, you have everything you ever wanted and it gets boring after some time. now all i do is burn my footprints into the carpet pacing around, daydreaming of a story regarding two lovers that don't include me. my teachers always said i was a fiction freak. they are right. nothing i like is real. not even myself.
