Tbh the biggest thing for me was becoming friends with ppl who have the style you like, then ask them questions about basically anything tbh. Music, style, advice, everything. My now bestfriend was the person that really got me into the scene/ emo aesthetic, and it helped a bunch. Hope this helps!!!
