Hey guys! Felt the need to make this blog to recommend a certain manga I've been following for the past few years (partially due to spotty translations). Its a manga that has characters with aspergers and explores their struggles in life and their pasts called "Asper Girl". Basically the main character Yokoi is a manga artist who draws comics and publishes them on a website, and he has a few fans who follow his works. One day, a girl named Megumi Saitou shows up at his doorstep and she has a bit of a difference to her. It turns out down the line that she is an aspie, and it is also implied Yokoi is an aspie himself due to his wild imagination and difficulty with social cues.
The two bond in a platonic way and eventually it becomes a full blown romantic relationship, but the story explores their growth as people, and especially Saitou's struggles with her past abuse and her past being bullied by her peers. A lot of things in this manga are super relatable to me an aspie, and I highly recommend it to anyone on the spectrum who wants a relatable manga with an interesting story.
