Ghost tale - Mysterious Blanketed Man

Well I am going to begin by introducing myself. I am Geeby, 28 and a Night Auditor for a Hotel Chain. I work 11pm-7am everyday and honestly I have been itching to write more stories as I used to back in the day. I wrote a ton on Quizilla (IFKYK) and I wrote many MANY Fan fics for emo bands I am not proud of but I wrote horror as well. I will also be posting these Ghost Tales as a daily reminder that this job is literally me and the ghosts. I have always joked about it but since remodeling it's been weird around here. Electronics going off by themselves (Phones, doors, Wall panels, etc.) and other spooky things.

So today's mundane tale is titled The Mysterious blanketed man.
As I was working I could hear someone in the distance almost whispering from the kitchen area. My desk is a good distance away so I was sure I was just hearing things. I put my headphones in for the rest of my shift as it's been pretty slow around here lately. It's important to note I stand my whole shift with the exceptions of taking a break for my "Dinner" or just coffee. After a moment of listening to music my automatic double doors open. I took my headphone out and walked to the door. The entire time looking towards the door hoping someone just triggered it. Except the doors were locked. Meaning the only way the door opens is if someone from the inside walks by the sensor or someone uses a key card to open the door. So as someone who usually just ignores these things tonight I took my headphones out and sat in the quiet of the lobby on my phone. I look up for a moment and see a colorful blanketed man walking right by the door. It's not unusual to see this as we have many homeless people who try to come in and get coffee or food from us. What was unusual is that later on the night I found the back door by the pool was propped open and there the blanket of this person strung out across the street in the back by the pool. I'm sure people have been living in our empty rooms on our 1st floor undetected by my coworkers who don't check doors at night or just let anyone walk in and out. It's happened before and I got robbed here like a month or so ago. Y'all be careful I'ma keep an eye out for the blanketed man. I have no idea where he went his blanket still in the street.
But will investigate the door sensor when I come back in to work. :P
