BASS GUITAR RECOMMENDATIONS

okok so, what kind of brands should i avoid and look into :?

bc i was checking guitar center's website to find a bass guitar and i wasn't sure which brand i should go for

(btw it can't be too expensive bc i do not have that kind of money)
