Death Do Us Part(Drabble)

Her light almost pushed the darkness away, but with her kind heart, she welcomed it. "It's only natural for me to be here, don't you think?" She giggles lightly. Her bright angel wings made little sound when she lands onto the unforeseen ground. 

All but a white and black void with a picture of the earth displayed in the middle. They see it as some kind of portal. A way to reach the real world within the believed one. Death and Life stood beside the picture, looking at a human boy who struggled to stay alive in a medical room.

Death growls at the unexpected visit, although this wasn't their first time seeing each other. "But you shouldn't."

Life giggles once more. Her hand gently touches Death's arm in a friendly manner. The darkness on his arm practically melts away at her touch. "What would earth be without hope?" She questions him.

He remains quiet, unsure of how to answer. His purpose of being there was to fulfill human's lives. Sending them to peace and comfort. Life has always seemed to find him at these times. He doesn't understand the amount of faith she can hold. It's practically indestructible.

"In time, we will have our answer." Death watches as the human boy settles into comfort. 

Life's hand reaches for his, their fingers intertwining. Death was surprised by the act, but let it be. "Till death do us part." She speaks.
