Chapter 1: The Spider and the Kitsune-Like Lion

In Castletown, a clan named the Shishikusa clan have a theatre in their basement for their daimyos to act. One day, the daimyos get tired of acting and ask the Shishikusa representative if they can kill a girl on stage. Tomonari, the clan representative, goes to his wife, Ryou, and tells her that they need to kill a girl. Ryou slaps Tomonari for thinking of killing a girl for entertainment but Tomonari tells her that they will gain money from it. Ryou agrees and a girl is found for the display. This girl is Akari Oborudzuka, the daughter of the leader of the most powerful clan. Akari is put onto the stage and Ryou begins to torture her. The crowd roars as Akari screams in pain. Akari begs to go home but Ryou ignores her. Ryou starts to rip off Akari's nails and smash her joints with pliers. Akari threatens Ryou by saying that she will curse her bloodline but Ryou does not listen to her. As Ryou cuts Akari open, she starts to finger herself. Akari starts to chant as Ryou moans loudly. Akari starts to bleed out and die. Ryou unleashes the rope from Akari and lays her on the table. Ryou starts fingering and touching Akari's body while she does the same to herself. The curse has been placed onto the Shishikusa bloodline and Akari is reborn under a torii.

Chapter 2: The Fox's Wedding

Akari has reborn and meets a girl named Emi. Akari asks Emi to take her to the castle of the Shishikusa family and Emi agrees. When Akari arrives with Emi, they meet the daughter of Ryou, Mai, and Akari asks Mai if she would like to go to her house to eat. Mai is too stunned to speak because she has already fallen in love. Mai is the daughter that was affected by the bloodline curse. Mai follows Akari to her house where Mai is knocked out and taken to the basement. Kanishiro, Akari's brother watches Mai and makes her eat human flesh everyday. Mai begins to develop Stockholm Syndrome and eats the meat joyfully. When Mai is let go to live freely again, she goes home to celebrate her birthday. Mai sneaks up on one of her family members and kills and eats them, leaving it inside her bedroom. Shizune, the adopted sister of Mai, finds the body and tells their parents. Ryou and Tomonari sit down with Mai to discuss the dead body and why it is there but Mai becomes hungry. Mai does not hide her insatiable hunger and attacks her mom and dad and eats them. Mai leaves and Shizune finds the bodies. When Mai gets to Akari's house, Mai asks is Akari would marry her and she agrees. The two get married as a god watches with anger.

Chapter 3: The Beautiful Shadow of the Demon's Frenzied Dance

This song barely has anything to unpack but, It's about Mai and Akari's adventure roaming through hell after being called by Shikyou, the angered god. Though Shikyou made a deal with the Oborudzuka clan not to meet with any members of the Shishikusa clan.

Chapter 4: Shikyou the Amanojaku

Shikyou tells Akari and Mai about the broken deal and the punishment. Shikyou tells Mai about how she comes from an idiotic family that disagrees that demons or gods exist. Shikyou finally settles on a punishment, beheading, and tells Mai that she has one more day until her head is returned inside of a basket to Akari. Akari tries to argue with Shikyou but the both of them are dismissed from hell.

Chapter 5: Beheading Dance

Mai and Akari walk around Castletown lending out their bodies and dancing to celebrate Mai's beheading. Mai also attacks and eats the citizens of Castletown. Mai revisits her house to find her adoptive sister, Shizune, dead on the ground and begins to eat her flesh. Then, Mai is taken back to hell where Shikyou prepares a celebration to watch Mai's head being cut off. Mai's head is taken and placed inside of a basket that is returned to Akari on her doorstep.

Chapter 6: The Clear Demonic Mirror

Ryou's sister always had miscarriages due to her alcoholism but one time, a beautiful baby girl named Kaori had arrived. Little did they know, she was affected by Akari's curse. She would constantly play in the yard where she would kill and eat any animal she saw. One day, her mother was very curious and decided to watch over her. Kaori would grab a bunny and stomp on it, killing it and eating it in front of her mother. Disturbed, Kaori's mom ran over to her, asking what happened to her but Kaori would then attack and eat her mother.

Chapter 7: Will o' the Wisp

Thousands of years later, the Shishikusa clan is still cursed. The descendants of the family still own the theatre and perform savage killings due to the curse. The onibi also comes back to watch them and tell the tale of the curse that was put on their family.

Chapter 8: Star Lily Dance Performance

This is a what-if song. This song IS part of the series but only serves as the "good ending" that never happens. Akari and Mai get to live happily with each other. Mai teaches Akari to dance and Akari teaches Mai how to sing. Mai and Akari can finally show their affection for each other. But, in the end, Mai wakes up from her dream and is beheaded. A dream that will never come true.
