My want to escape reality is tremendous. I despise reality. I would like to experience living in a dream where time stood still. I want to go to sleep so I won't have to face this ugly reality. But today I understood that, if you want it to be, reality can be a lot of fun. Why not follow your own advice? Do what you are telling yourself to do. If you don't, you'll simply feel depressed about how useless reality is and want to go away once more.

The chrysalis splits as an outcome. The alteration is complete. The butterfly stretches its wings and unpacks. It flies, feeds, and will expire in two weeks. Everything is temporary. Nothing, not life, not beauty.

Death. Birth. Throughout my lifespan, my identity and personality will continuously change before returning, each time with a new appearance. To the younger version of myself I was five years ago and will continue to be in 10 years, the worries I have right now are worthless. Because time cures all wounds, Change happens gradually. Change brings us healing.
