my parents just got home from a weekend trip and immediately i am exhausted by their presence
i just lost my ability to leave my room and behave freely and its so upsetting
i need to get out of this fucking house so bad its not even funny

Oh my god this is how I felt living in the dorms. I literally didn't join a vc for like four months in my room because I didn't feel comfortable TALKING in the presence of my roommate. He wasn't even mean or anything, I just wasn't comfy with him.
I have not been able to have a verbal conversation with my friends all year for that same reason :( it's just so uncomfortable speaking knowing that my parents can hear me and Could listen in if they wanted to
