I just want to say that I have gained respect for Paris Hilton because she really has discarded her ditzy persona and even though this is reality TV, it deals with real people like this person with borderline personality disorder, and personality disorders have very little visibility in the world of "neurotypicals." She is doing this thing with Vice, I guess, which just has profiles of people and their struggles but I thought this one was good for mental illness visibility and humanizes the person for the viewer, rather than making it seem like just a scary list of symptoms. As a Cluster A (schizoid) person, I have little understanding of Cluster B (borderline, histrionic, narcissistic, antisocial) in this way so I found it to be a good exercise in empathy. I watched the "space fairy" one, the cute Black girl with the green hair, but found the episode less compelling, though also depressing. More concerned with the mental illness awareness aspect here in this particular episode.
