Disregarded

People Lie.

  It’s always gossip

   It’s always he said she said. 

    It’s always drama.

People use.

  For fun.

   For the thrill to see you break down.

     For your reaction.

It’s always

     “What’s her problem?”

It’s never

      “What’s wrong?”

They see the tears.

  Tears falling down her face.

    Tears turning her eyes red.

They hear her sobs.

  Hear her gasping for breath.

    Hear her panic.

She’s just dramatic. They say as they get ready to repeat the cycle with her the next day.

And they wonder why she doesn’t get better.
