YOU KNOW THAT MOMENT WHEN SOMETHING IS SO CLOSE BUT THERE IS STILL THE TIME LEADING UP TO IT??????

i am leaving my current job this coming wednesday. that means i still have four days of work (got sunday off). and i am excited to leave, since it will give me some gosh-darned personal time. but also, in the meantime, it makes work all the more grueling. i have mentally resigned from the job, but i still am there almost every day, and so i need to maintain my top-tier performance still. my mind isn't reality, and so i am not truly resigned yet.
