It's times like these where I'd give anything to be somewhere important with my camera. I'll take the teargas and the risk of bodily harm just to document these folks with no plan stomping around inside and outside an empty building as a symbolic gesture. Looking for the telltale signs of Proud Boys and Qanon nutjobs and making their images in that moment permanent.

Absolutely. And just thinking of all the factors that lead to this chaos and how packed with history these actions are. It's almost beautiful in a way, if you can see that without really engaging with the absolute insanity of it.
