Well after the twist turn in episode 4 I decided to wait on blogging again about this season until I finish seeing it all. I was really under the impression that Love killed Giles at the end of episode 3. Well I was wrong. She assaulted him & knocked him out, but didn't kill him.
So this season of the show was very interesting. So many didn't twists & turns.
I was very happy to see Tati Gabrielle playing one of the new characters on "You" this season. She did a great job playing Prudence Blackwood on "The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina." She did a really great job as Marienne Bellamy in this season as well.
So it was interesting watching Love change during this season. Her mother Dottie really pissed me off. Seems like a mother who uses her kids as tools to bring them down to make herself feel better. Anytime she wanted to throw jabs at Love she kept bringing up Theo. Not sure Love's mom has room to judge on that to begin with. So the part she kept insisting baby Henry was Forty's reincarnation wasn't healthy. Without knowing for a fact it is wrong to put that on a child. She literally seen baby Henry as her son & not grandson. When she kidnapped baby Henry from the babysitter, took him joy riding with her in her lap while she was drunk driving, along with bringing him with her to set her ex husband's place set on fire had me as a viewer shocked!
As for the relationships outside of Joe & Love's marriage with other people, well Theo & Marienne didn't seem so bad. Theo isn't the worst, but he was a very immature 19 year old rich kid. Marienne of course had a rough past & struggled with justice in her custody battle.
That crazy couple Sherry & Carly were cringe to me. Sherry was worse to me because she was trying to benefit off Natalie's disappearance like Theo confronted her about. She didn't even like Natalie to begin with. She basically was an overgrown teenager herself.
As for the way it ended did seem to give a chance for a season 4. Love was one of the interesting women Joe Goldberg have been with in the show. The one that seems to have the best character in general that Joe has been with from the show is Marienne. I was person glad Love atleast had enough humanity in her not to kill her off when she saw how much her daughter needs her. So at the end of the last episode we see how Joe was one step ahead of Love. He was able to survive the encounter with her where she ended up dying. He also was able to stage his own death & move to Paris where it shows he searches for Marienne. Let's hope for Marienne's sake that he doesn't find her. One if the creepiest things I found disturbing he would collect from the women he stalks is their used tampons. Not sure the sense in that, but that is probably the most gross in my opinion he would have in the collection boxes of them. Such a crazy show that has me & plenty if other people hooked!
