So I've been thinking about what I should write on my blog after posting my first entry (and yes, I know it's a weird thing to think about but what can I say... it's a blessing with a curse to think so much about unimportant stuff). My conclusion is that I should post about everything that I like but really can't share with anybody. So based on that, I'm dedicating these lines to Clock Tower: The First Fear, a Japanese game launched on 1995 by Human Entertainment.

The first time that I tried this game was like a year ago, on my SNES Classic Edition, and I remember that I immediately loved it. I'm not a man of videogames (most of the times I can't even understand them) or technologic stuffΒ  (as you could say with me being on Spacehey lol), but this game in particular had something.

In itself it's very simple, you just have to point and click things. You control a girl named Jennifer (who also is the name of the main character on Rule of Rose, that's interesting!) to investigate the strange things that are happening in a mansion of a rich woman that just adopted you and three more girls.

The game has nine endings and the possibility to know the character's status (the worst of them being the "panic mode", when the threat is near). It also has a pretty interesting soundtrack choices (cause most of the time you're in full silence), and I would say that that is one of the reasons I liked this title.

Plus, the game is partially based on Phenomena, a movie by italian director Dario Argento who is also known by works like Suspiria, Deep Red and Tenebrae. Isn't that awesome?

I would say, that even though Clock Tower: The First Fear isn't necessarily what we know as "terror/horror" games today, it's a pretty interesting title that aged well and it's still remembered for a reason.

But what about you all? Have you ever heard or played this game? I would love to know and talk a little about it :-)! would make me happy. And of course, thank you very much for reading... this. Hope you're having a good day/night!

P.S: I'm trying to post more stuff here so... yeah. I think I will write something about a movie on October's 30/31st. See you there!
