it was not death for i stood up by Emily Dickinson

It was not death, for I stood up

And all the dead, lie down
It was not night, for all the bells
Put out their tongues, for noon

For some reason this poem really sticks out to me, it's a short poem that i really adore. As someone who is majorly creative it makes me admire the different poems that are out there.
For anyone who admire poets i would be more than glad to share my different types of favorite poems that i hold close to my heart.
