My Favorite Guns

A little bit about a few guns I love 8^)

M16A4

The M16A4 is an American assault rifle (that very closely resembles my rifle I have in my game)(pictured above) that was introduced in the 1990s and manufactured by Colt Company. It was developed from the M16A2 and was the 4th generation in the "M16" series.

The M16A4 features a removeable carrying handle and a quad Picatinny rail to mount accessories such as optics, scopes, laser sights, etc. It lacked the full-auto firing mode, but had 3-round burst mode and single shot mode. It was in service through 1990s-2015, where it was phased out by a more compact M4 carbine.

AK-47

The AK-47 is another gun that I love!!! (Image pictured above is me with an AK-47 which I have in one of the unfinished sequels to my game, Pico 2). It is a Russian assault rifle that was developed in 1947 by a tank mechanic, Mikhail Kalashnikov, during the Soviet Union era.

The AK-47(also known as the Kalashnikov assault rifle) is gas operated and has 3 modes of fire: safe, semi, and auto, where it can fire 600 rounds per minute. It was officially adopted by the Soviet Union in 1949 and was in service until 1974. However, other countries still continue to use the AK-47 in the present, where it still remains a very popular and deadly firearm.

MAC-10

Even though I like rifles more, I still love MAC-10s!! The MAC-10 is a submachine pistol that was designed by Gordon B. Ingram in 1964 and was used during the Vietnam War(1970-1975). The MAC-10 is very similar to the UZI, but the main difference is that the MAC-10 is chambered to use . 45 ACP cartridge, unlike the UZI, which only uses 9mm cartridge.

The MAC-10 (also known as the Military Armament Corporation Model 10 or M10) is blowback-operated and it's build consists of stamped steel. The MAC-10 was however never officially adopted into the military despite being used by military, law enforcement, and special forces in many countries around the world.

FAMAS

Even though this gun isn't one of my absolute favorites or anything I still wanted to talk about it. I like this gun because it looks goofy and was featured in a old Assassin mission on Newgrounds!(pictured above)

The FAMAS is a French bullpup assault rifle that was first designed in 1967 by Paul Tellie. The first prototype of the gun was developed in 1971. Sometime in late 1978, the gun was adopted into the French military as a standard-issue rifle. (FAMAS F1) The FAMAS G2 entered service in 1994, and in 2017, the FAMAS was beginning to be phased out and replaced by the HK416F.
