7302022 • OMORI HUMPHREY boss fight rant

WARNINGS??? 

THIS INCLUDES OMORI SPOILERS  

(TWO DAYS LEFT) 

(wanna include this … so b4 i finished watching a OMORI playthru in FEB 2021 i read thru the fandom wiki and spoiled myself on the whole plot … so tbh i was rly uneducated on the boss fights) 

i actually didn’t know what to write about today since i was asleep most of the time but about a hour ago i was playing OMORI on switch . before,, i kept hearing ppl rant about how hard the boss fight of HUMPHREY is and id say a bit after i completed the PLUTO EXPANDED boss fight i was saying, “i don’t think it could get harder than this!”

well … it has. 

 (i think OMORI is lvl 28 and AUBREY, KEL, and HERO are lvl 27) 

for me the SLIME GIRLS boss fight wasn’t to hard for me,, defeating it only in the first time around. but my mistake of going into both boss fights (HUMPHREY and the SLIME GIRLS) was not having good skills. I was using low skills (STAB, HEADBUTT,  etc…) and only relying on emotions during the HUMPHREY boss fight,, so when i got to the stage were he swallows my team i was pretty much doomed from the start. my team were all low health or toast. 

i tried to retry doing the fight about over 10 times (amount i did when i was defeating SWEETHEART) and i realized it’s probably gonna be harder to defeat it if i don't have good skills, (like PAINFUL TRUTH, HACK AWAY, SMILE, etc…)  

luckily i saved before the SMILE GIRLS fight so im trying to redo both of those,, so ill come into the HUMPHREY fight new in improved… i hope…

im gonna continue playing so wish me luck!!! :DD
