Benjie K11/K8Plus player and Bluetooth (first test)

I just connected my cheap SBKG 40 A1 SilverCrest Bluetooth headphones with this Benjie K11/K8Plus of mine, and the volume levels thing for Bluetooth is so fucked up.

The player volume + 'phones volume can give some bad clipping; adjusting on 'phones affects player volume without changing number, adjusting on player affects the 'phones volume too, but with a delay on some levels.

Low player volume and medium on 'phones also causes issues in treble.. there are more combinations with various kinds of clipping than with ok sound.

These Silvercrest may be fucked up too, I shall check with my Creative SoundBlaster Jam at least, later.

Oh. And It says file format not supported for bt playback when you try to play ogg Vorbis or m4a AAC, while being fine with mp3 and flac. I knew there will be something that wrong.

I really like that player for analog playback tho. Just the UI is really fucked up. And it doesn't work with one variant of m4a tags. And the internal memory is absurdly slow. And I am not sure if it supports playlist other than Playlist 1, Playlist 2, Playlist 3.

It has quite impressive high volume output at as good quality, and probably that's what the authors tried to aim for replicating with Bluetooth.. a digital output.

Ok and now I also tested with the Creative SoundBlaster Jam and I managed to make the resulting volume of music actually go up for the first few steps lowering the volume on the player.

I also then had the player dim the screen from inacvitity and lose the BT connection mid-song and start reconnecting after waking the screen, but that wasn't happening each time.

Oh and I didn't have most of the oversteering issues with a, this time, Dimaa's "Out of time" FLAC from Bandcamp. But the issues return when it's an Internet Archive download of MP3 of "Living Things" album by Linkin Park.
