Hello to the under 3 people who read my blogs! Hows it going? I haven't written anything in a while so let me update you on what has happened the past 3 months. My off b'way production went great! They never needed me to understudy but I did nail my 10 second solo as my very small role. For some reason I never mentioned the show that I was in??? It was High School Musical. I got the understudy of Gabriella and my small role was Martha. (the nerd who likes hip hop).
I had a showcase in May where I preformed in front of 25 agents and talent managers. I haven't heard back but I heard they haven't seen all the videos yet. (over 150 I think). The owner/founder of the acting school where all this goes on saw my 10 second solo in HSM and said that she wants me to be a lead in the next show. At the time they didn't know what the next shows were gonna be but we are doing Heathers (older kids) and Matilda (younger kids). I have wanted to do Heathers for YEARS so I hope i get casted, lead or not. I'm going to audition for Veronica. I am still trying to learn all of her high notes though. If I never land the high notes, I'll settle and audition for Heather Duke (the green one.) Audition materials come out next week and auditions are at the end of august. I have another showcase coming up this fall and my braces should be off by then. The main reason I haven't heard back from any TV or Movie audition is probably because of my braces. They hold people back. I'm hoping they're off by then and I hear back. In My last showcase i put my heart and soul into that and haven't heard anything. I have 4 shows i'm gonna do in high school. (2 school shows and 2 off b'way productions, Heathers being one of them.)
Anyways that's my life at the moment. I have some summer homework to catch up on so I should go do that. That was my update! !!!
