My Top 10 Favourite Public Domain Cartoons

Public Domain - A piece of media with no copyright attached to it, thus making it free for anyone to distribute in any way, shape or form. Notable examples of Public Domain Media include The Oz Books by L. Frank Baum, Night of the Living Dead, Reefer Madness, and Winnie The Pooh.

Not many know, but there are lots of great things in the Public Domain. The trick is putting forth the effort to dig around for those things. Even Animation has not been without succumbing to The Public Domain (if those cheap Cartoon Compilation Videos from back in the day were not anything to go by).

Without further ado, here is a list of MY favourite Public Domain Cartoons of All Time:

10.) The Dover Boys at Pimento University (or The Rivals of Roquefort Hall) (1942, Leon Schlesinger Productions, Warner Bros Pictures)

9.) Daffy Duck and The Dinosaur (1939, Leon Schlesinger Productions, Warner Bros Pictures)

8.) Farm Frolics (1941, Leon Schlesinger Productions, Warner Bros Pictures)

7.) Pantry Panic (1941, Walter Lantz Productions, Universal Pictures)

6.) Superman in Billion Dollar Limited (1942, Fleischer Studios, Paramount Pictures)

5.) Popeye Meets Sindbad The Sailor (1936, Fleischer Studios, Paramount Pictures)

4.) To Spring (1936, Harman-Ising Productions, MGM)

3.) The Wabbit Who Came To Supper (1942, Warner Bros Pictures)

2.) There's Good Boos Tonight (1948, Famous Studios, Paramount Pictures)

and my #1 favourite Public Domain Cartoon is Jack Frost (1934, Ub Iwerks Studios, Celebrity Productions)

Do you agree with my list? What are some of y'all's favourite Public Domain Cartoons?
